Okay let get this straight. We always tend to pursue for greater. Accomplish what haven't been done before, expand the vision and be always better than yesterday. It's more like we feel the urge to be ahead of the competition which doesn't exist but in our minds. Stumble upon unnecessary obstacles to untie the knots, just to feel right. Again and again, being lost in the vast timeline. But here's the catch, we don't have that much time. We often become blind to the present we once prayed for. Not being grateful of what we have. Considering the beauties of life from microscopic to astronomic, we live in the future for no reason. To achieve the greatness, give up on the greatness around us. In the timeline of humanity, we are smaller than a droplet out of an ocean. Our lifespan means absolutely nothing compared to universe's timeline. The probability that you are reading this from anywhere on earth is extraordinarily low. Formation of the earth, water impacting roguishly on the surface of the earth, codebase of life forming in the water out of nowhere, evolution of the first animals then you being here; having consciousness to be able to examine around you. Most importantly, witness the rising sun after millions of years. You, having life inside you with your brain has its consciousness... Don't you think it's extremely rare? Now I ask you, does it really matter? In your lifespan, will you spend your life not being aware of all of this? You won't be even remembered by your descendants, after living a life of couple years. So I'll say that, enjoy your time being here and perhaps, let it happen. Sincerely, Goose
